Jakob is a choreographer and sound artist currently based in Amsterdam,working with movement, objects, music, voice, text, and improvisation, and approaching performance as a playful and critical means of intervention into the self and into being in relation,always seeking to negotiate how body and self are shaped by - and respond to - social, material, political and spiritual conditions,especially exploring improvisation in its capacity to challenge logics of moving, experiencing and sense-making,
and searching for modes of being that are simultaneously flexible yet uncompromising.
